The public sector is about 1/3 of the Danish economy and as such the public sector is also the largest employer.
Denmark is in a situation where a large part of the workforce plans to retire within a foreseeable future. To cope with the changes in demographics something drastic needs to be done, something that forces the government and its governance form to change. It is not the power balance in parliament that needs to be coped with but how the government (public sector) does business and manage the tasks it has to handle.
This blog will be a part of the journey to understand what government 3.0 (and why not government 2.0?) is.
The reason why I chosen to focus on government 3.0 is that a lot of people are currently working and maturing the government 2.0 concept and to ensure that this blog can go beyond the dogma of Government 2.0 then I have chosen to focus on Government 3.0.
